Frequent Questions
How much experience do I need to take the Foundation Module?
Any person motivated for a deeper understanding of poses, alignment, and history of Yoga is welcome to take the Foundation training. It is recommended that the student has taken at least 30 yoga classes before taking the Foundation module, however no prior experience is required.
May I complete the 300 hour Mukti Yoga Teacher Training if I have a 200 hour certification from another registered yoga school?
Yes, the Graduate module will review Mukti Yoga foundation principles. The Graduate module serves as a bridge for those students that have a 200 hour from another training.
Do I need to fill out an application for each training?
You need to fill out an application to sign up for each of the 200 hour and 300 hour Mukti Yoga Teacher Trainings. Applications are available on the Registration page.
Is there a timeline to finish the 200 hour or 300 hour training?
It is recommended to complete all of your modules and electives within one year or less for the 200-hour certification and within 2 years for the 300-hour certification. These are recommendations and not requirements.
What are my payment options?
Early registration receives $200 off of a 200-hour certification and $300 off of a 300-hour certification. If the student is not able to pay in full before the start of the training, then there will be an initial deposit and an automatic monthly withdraw for the remaining balance over 6 months.
